About

I have been a practising horticulturalist for as long as I can remember but developed my own garden style as that which integrates natural and wild flora with traditional cottage garden favourites.  I now have a smallholding and have been growing an increasing number of herbs and vegetables over the last 18 years to the point at which I have achieved a reasonable level of self-sufficiency to support my family.  All of these are organically grown and have a superior taste especially when combined with the flavours derived from herbs both cultivated and naturally foraged.

I graduated in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Horticulture and have studied Ethnobotany (the way in which different cultures use plants) as part of my degree.  As well as enjoying a garden which is a constant pleasure to the senses I am always seeking to provide for our everyday needs from the plants that surround me just as our predecessors would have done.
